  • I'm a broker/owner or team leader. Can I partner with REFR?
Absolutely! REFR compensates two levels deep for adding agents to our platform. We know how much time and energy brokers/owners and team leaders spend training and developing agents that don't end up staying in the business. At REFR, we want to partner with you to turn these underproducing agents into lead sources for you. The first income opportunity you have is by receiving the referrals generated by your referral only agents if they are in your marketplace. The second income opportunity you have is for referrals generated by your referral only agents that are outside of your marketplace. In this scenario, when the deal closes REFR earns a referral fee which we split with the referral only agent. We pay 15% of the company dollar (the amount REFR keeps) generated for any first-tier agents you enroll and 7.5% of the company dollar generated for any second-tier agents your network enrolls. To learn more about our broker/owner & team leader programs, contact us.
  • How do REFR Agents/Ambassadors submit referrals?
All referrals are submitted through the REFR web app (Desktop or Mobile). Agents/Ambassadors can simply log in and hit the "Submit Referral" button. The entire process is done online. Nothing to print or scan in!
  • Can I choose the agent the referral goes to?
Absolutely! REFR gives you 3 options of agents to place the referral with: You can send it to your upline; the person that invited you to the platform (ie a friend in the business, your former team leader or broker). You can send it to a friend in the business. You can ask REFR to search the local market and find the Best Fit agent for your client. Once we identify the Best Fit agent, we will send their credentials over to you for a quick review. If you give us the go-ahead, REFR will negotiate a 35% referral fee for you with that Best Fit agent and their brokerage, get all the paperwork signed and make the introduction to your client.
  • What referral fee does REFR charge to the agents who will be handling the referrals?
REFR charges a 35% referral fee on most referrals. Click HERE for some exceptions.
  • What is the commission split on my closed referrals?
REFR charges a 35% referral fee for most referrals. Click HERE for some restrictions to that rule. In a case where there is a 35% Referral fee, REFR Ambassadors will receive a check to their Brokerage equal to 30% of the gross commission amount of the transaction (REFR keeps the other 5%). REFR Agents get compensated based on their plan. Here is an example of how you would get paid as a REFR agent: If the referral you submitted generates a $10,000 commission to the assigned agency that handled the transaction, then REFR would receive $3,500. That $3,500 would be split with the REFR Agent as follows: Basic Plan - 50/50 split = $1,750 Standard Plan - 80/20 split = $2,800 Pro Plan - 90/10 split = $3,150
  • If I join REFR, can I still list properties or represent buyers?
REFR Ambassadors can continue to list properties and represent buyers just as they always have. REFR agents would be moving their license to REFR which is designed as an extremely low-cost referral-only brokerage. REFR agents may only refer their leads and earn a commission. Listing property or representation of buyers is not possible for REFR agents.
